Samsung smart phone create boom in market as we all know, but this success story of Samsung not complete without Google android OS. It is the combination of Samsung and android that make smartphone smarter. So this love of Samsung toward Android is continuing in their latest Digital cameras. So, after smartphone, tablets and TVs, now is the time for digital cameras to run Google’s Android operating system.
Samsung now come up with Android-based digital cameras. According to the report from Engadget, Samsung is mulling over an “open” camera operating system.
Samsung R&D team has been researching on how to bring Android to its digital cameras. But the interesting point here is that what exactly would an OS like Android mean for digital camera users? Will the in-camera ecosystem be opened to third-party developers? This in turn could make it possible to use Twitter and Facebook apps that let you not only upload your photos directly with a familiar interface, but also see photos shared by your friends.
Samsung is planning to develop a Open platform for camera phones.
Also, a capacitive touchscreen would let you type in comments directly as well. Moreoever, a USB port could accommodate a spate of accessories including a microphone or a modem, which could be used with various models, including those from other manufacturers.
There are many predictions that could be made, but it will be interesting to hear that when Samsung is going to come up with its Android-powered digital cameras. The research is afoot and this is something under consideration. They are merely speculations at this point of time and there is no such product announcement from Samsung yet.
Though Samsung is planning to foray into this space, but it would not be the first company to come up with an Android-based digital camera. Of late, Polaroid announced its SC1630 camera at CES. The company expects the product to hit the market later this year.

In Modern world of technology there is rapid growth of Smartphone user and day after day many new handsets with some advance feature launch in Smartphone market. In Smartphone series Android is leading Mobile OS with millions of Mobile apps, Along with features there are some security threat also concern with smart phone, here we provide some general tips about Android mobile security adopting this tips surely you can prevent your Android mobile from cybercriminals, malware risk.
- Use the official Android Market instead of third-party app stores or websites, especially now that Bouncer is used to monitor for malware. If you want to help ensure that you only install apps from Android Market, you can turn off the ability to install apps from unknown sources in by going to Settings and then to the Security menu (in Android 4.0 or later) or the Applications menu (in earlier versions of Android).
- Research apps before downloading: Check the publisher and app reviews.
- Pay attention to app permissions during the installation and check the market listing or developer for an explanation of any suspicious permission.
- Install an antivirus/security app.
- Be wary of phishing scams and malware via the Web browser or SMS messages.
- Be cautious if you root your device and keep an eye out for the Superuser prompts that are displayed when an app requests root permissions. Rooting allows you to use some powerful apps and even enhanced security functionality, but at the same time increases potential damage from infections.
- To protect your Android device against local attacks — a thief or snooper — enable lock screen security (or, if you’re one of the lucky few who already have Ice Cream Sandwich, you can test out the new Face Unlock feature.)
- Finally, to prevent any malicious apps from sending messages to a number that will automatically charge your account, see if your wireless carrier can block the ability to sign up for premium SMS subscriptions.
If you like this Android security tips and you think this is useful for android user please share it with your friends also and if you know some other issue regarding mobile security please add in listing using comments, I appreciate your thoughts.

After lots of promotions and marketing, Nokia changed their market plan by reducing price of their latest smartphone Lumia 800. Now you can buy the Lumia 800 in just Rs. 23,500 on online stores like Flipkart and you may be able to find it for a lot cheaper, if you dig around a bit. For those who’ve bought it for the old price, what can we say, but tough luck.
This price is more like it and we can finally give a nod in its favor. With this price, the Lumia 800 now competes with the Incredible S and the Rhyme and between these phones. it’s a very attractive buy. If you were holding out for the Lumia 800, then now would be the time to grab it.

The Lumia 800 is Nokia’s Windows Phone 7 device and sports a 3.7-inch ClearBlack display from Nokia, themselves. The main attractions towards this handset, lies in the feel and build quality of the phone. The entire chassis is built using a polycarbonate shell which, besides being strong and durable feels unique and different from any other plastic chassis handsets. This also makes it very lightweight and easy to carry around.
Here are the main specifications of the Nokia Lumia 800.
• 3.7-inch Clear Black display with a capacitive touchscreen featuring a 480 x 800 pixel resolution under Gorilla Glass
• 3G, EDGE/GPRS, Wi-Fi,
• GPS with A-GPS support for Bing Maps and hopefully Nokia Maps, as well
• Bluetooth with A2DP + EDR and USB 2.0
• 8MP AF camera with Carl Zeiss optics and a Dual LED flash, 720p HD recording (pity there’s no full HD support)
• FM radio
• 16GB of internal storage
• Active noise cancellation
