IGNOU now on Mobile Phone

IGNOU the India largest Open University  now join there hands with Ericsson. By this  IGNOU which Elaborates there Distance Education learning program in broad way by using such technology they are able to reach now distant place in India.

World largest open university claimed that by such facility nearly 2.4 million students learn on mobile phone and might 34 countries get benefit through this partnership.

For such Study material Ericsson developed 3G Environment.Ericsson will allow them effortlessly download IGNOU course contents . In addition to this, they can also avail of SMS alerts right on their mobile devices .

Professor V N Rajasekharan Pillai, Vice Chancellor of IGNOU, says , “Our University is founded on the idea that education should be offered to less advantaged sections of society. With Ericsson’s help, we will create a learning platform that uses mobile devices to build educational excellence and exchange information. Our students will benefit from the flexibility of learning at their own pace, any time, anywhere.”

Gowton Achaibar, President of Ericsson India, further mentions, “This partnership is yet another proof point of telecommunication being key for development of society. Education using mobile broadband technology will provide an efficient and economical way to get content to students in distance learning programs.”

Achaibar adds, “We have a clear opportunity to use India’s rapidly rising teledensity to bring the advantages of broadband to the world of education.”

So by such a good effort by ignou  some more students easily get higher Education and the problem of faculty in colleges may short on certain limit
