Tata DoCoMo announced the launch of its first handset in India.New phone is developed by Alcatel.
handset named OneTouch Net which is an QWERTY keypad handset with 2.4-inch display with support all of social networking websites. It will be more attractive for the social networking lovers with different applications. It is fully customized for Yahoo services and supports services like Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Messenger, Yahoo Search with Voice, Yahoo Social Pulse and Flickr image service.
Phone also has a 2 megapixel camera,FM radio and Bluetooth. It has an internal memory of 80 MB which can be expanded upto 8 GB using micro SD card.
OneTouch Net is available in two colors ‘White & Lavender’ and ‘Black & Silver’ and will be priced at Rs 5,499.

It brings the internet style innovation in mobile phones making surfing easy for the consumers. The phones installed with this technology will help users to download free and paid applications and games, will have preloaded Google mobile services with Google Maps, Google Talk, Gmail, Google Chrome, Google search and YouTube.

TATA DOCOMO, the GSM brand of Tata Teleservices, and Research In Motion (RIM) have joined hands to launch a BlackBerry solution on TATA DOCOMO’s GSM platform. TATA DOCOMO is offering the BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Curve 8900 smart phones to its customers in India.
TATA DOCOMO has offered two plans for BlackBerry data service-
‘Do 299′ and ‘Do 899′. The ‘Do 299′ plan covers unlimited data usage for e-mail and instant messaging,
‘Do 899′ plan includes unlimited data usage for Internet, e-mail and instant messaging. Voice plans can be subscribed separately.
